Terms and Conditions for Delfryn, Hendre Barns

Contract

A contract, which incorporates these booking terms and conditions, is formed between you and Hendre Barns when we send by email to you a written booking confirmation. The contract is legally binding and shall be governed by and subject to the laws of England and Wales and any dispute arising between you and Hendre Barns shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in England and Wales.

Payment

A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the total cost of the holiday is payable when booking by debit/credit card or bank transfer. We will send you a confirmation by e-mail upon receipt of this deposit.  The balance of the cost of the holiday is due six weeks before you arrive. Non-payment of the balance by the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the customer. If you are booking within six weeks of the start of your holiday the whole cost is payable at the time of booking.  No further reminders for payment will be sent after the booking confirmation.

Cancellation and Insurance

Once you have booked your holiday our agreement with you is a legal contract. Any cancellations must be made in writing by post or by email to Hendre Barns. If the booking is cancelled by you after full payment has been made, we will refund 75% of the total cost of the holiday if Delfryn can be re-let for the period concerned.  The 25% deposit will remain non-refundable. If Delfryn cannot be re-let, no refund will be made. Cancellation insurance is not compulsory but we strongly recommend such cover is taken to protect against the cancellation penalty.

Non-availability of Delfryn

We would only cancel your holiday if Delfryn was unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was either not possible or not acceptable to you then we would refund you all monies paid for the holiday. Our liability to you would not extend beyond this refund.

Occupancy

The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum number of six, plus one baby in a travel cot. If occupancy exceeds this then we can refuse to allow you to take possession of the property or make you leave before the end of the holiday. If this happens, we will treat your holiday as cancelled by you and you will not be entitled to a refund of monies or compensation. Delfryn must only be used for holiday purposes.

Arrival and Departure

Delfryn will be available from 4pm on the day of your arrival, unless otherwise agreed in advance. You should vacate Delfryn by 9am on the morning of your departure.

Please report these before you leave. Note that we do not normally charge for minor breakages e.g. glassware and crockery provided these have been reported.
